At the Doc ... Again
Darcy has a pretty bad cough we are getting checked out at the pediatrician today. Fingers crossed it's not another ear infection ...
Update: Darcy has a bad chest cold so the doctor put her on nebulizer treatments for the next few days to help break it up. Not much fun, but it does seem to be helping her.

Ballerina Princess Pajamas
One of the fun parts about having two girls is dressing them up in matching outfits. Evie calls these pajamas "ballerina princess pajamas," usually followed by a little dance. (Thanks to Grammy for finding these for the girls.)

First Visit to Cracker Barrel
Darcy and I had dinner at Cracker Barrel this evening as we have both grown tired of fast food on this little road trip. This was her first trip to this American road trip staple and we both enjoyed browsing through the merchandise in the store. We shared meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, fried apples and biscuits. (Darcy really only liked the mashed potatoes, apples and biscuits; everything else was promptly spit out onto the floor!)

Straw
Darcy is learning to drink from a straw, which is nice when we're out and about and forget a sippy cup (like tonight).

Goodbye to My Childhood Home
My parents officially closed on the sale of my childhood home today. It was a bittersweet event. None of us have really lived there for years now (even my parents), but all four of us were raised there and it has always been the house I referred to as "home." It is strange to think that I will never set foot inside again and that another family will be eating dinner and watching TV and swimming and sleeping in "our" house. Goodbye house. You served the Kornegays well!
