The weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend so I decided to get out of the house and take the girls to the Manatee Viewing Center by the Tampa Electric Big Bend Power Station, which is just up the road from us in Apollo Beach. There were hundreds of manatees (which I somehow failed to take any photos of) and the girls had a great time watching them float in the water and come to the surface for air. They also have a fun education center with lots of hands-on exhibits that the girls enjoyed playing with. The center is only open from January to April, but it is free so if you are in the area, stop by!
