Color the Hearts

Today was what has become a typical Sunday for us. We went to church this morning, then Blake made us some yummy flank steak pitas for lunch. He went in to work and the girls and I have spent the afternoon watching movies, playing games and doing puzzles. Now they are working on this Valentine's Day-inspired coloring activity (more for Darcy than Evie, but they both enjoy it). Nothing too exciting, but these are the days I love best. Just a quiet day at home with my girls.

My Girls

The pay is lousy and the hours are long but you can't beat the view from my office...

Robot Kids

Who needs toys when you got boxes?! Amazon should just sell these things during the holidays.

The Circus is the Place for Me

Blake and I took the girls to see the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus today. The show was incredible and we all had a blast! Thanks to Grammy for getting us front row seats!!

Mommy Sandwhich

This is how you can tell you're loved.  There's hardly any room for Kiley on the couch!

Fun @ Common Ground Park

Pony Castle

Their big gift from Aunt Ti-ti and Uncle Kenny was a huge success

Christmas Pictures 2014

The holidays are finally winding down :( and we're getting caught up with our pictures.  Here are a sample of the best pics from the season.  Sorry they're so late.  I know some of the family have been eager to see what the girls have been up to.

Santa brought the girls this easel.  It has a dry erase board on one side, a chalkboard on the other and you can roll some paper for painting too.  Its a big hit, especially since its generally mess free and they can both use it at the same time.

Darcy loves her "Inja Tuttles"

I got this pick at the precise moment she opened the very thing she wanted most.  So awesome.

You can't tell from the picture above, but Kiley is in tears after opening her father's gift: a decorative wooden box holding all the keepsakes from their Vegas trip and a photo album.

Lucas definitely understands this smile at the camera thing...

Uncle Kenny spent a half hour blowing R2D2 up before figuring out the blasted droid didn't work.

Painting with the easel.
