A Lunch Date ... And a Little Art

Evie and I had lunch together today at Steak 'n' Shake before a doctor appointment. When we got home, the girls painted Christmas trees. They were not content with green paint and decided to use pink and purple as well. Love their eye for color!

Gone Visiting

Today we visited my aunt and uncle who live up in Clearwater, and we all had a great time. It is always fun to see my girls in a space I loved so much growing up (and still do). Thank you Aunt Chloe Anne and Uncle Hans for having us!

Today was a "stay at home all day" day ...

And it was lovely!

In the Off Position

Tonight is the first of 10 that I don't have to set my alarm. Woot!

(Of course, I have two other little alarm clocks that are sure to wake me before I want to get up, but they offer a much sweeter wake up call.)

Update: Despite the alarm being off, my eyes STILL popped open at 6 and that was that. Sigh. I am getting old.
