SUGAR!

For those of you in the Tallahassee area, Southwood is having a community-wide garage sale tomorrow (9/12) beginning at 7:30 a.m. My uber talented friend and neighbor, Jennifer, will be showcasing the beautiful handmade baby items (like the bibs above) she has made for her Etsy shop Sugar. Come by and check 'em out! (Follow the signs and balloons off Orange Ave to Jen's house on Coneflower Drive.)

Hitting the Road

Tomorrow we hit the road for South Florida! My 10 year high school reunion is Friday, and I am looking forward to seeing some old friends and hearing what everyone has been up to. Evie is looking forward to being spoiled by all four of her grandparents in one weekend. To my Pembroke Pines peeps, see ya soon!

Miss Maranda

For the past year, our good friend Maranda has been Evie's caregiver while we are at work. She has been amazing and we are so thankful she was able to watch our little girl for this first year. Today was Evelyn's last day with "Miss Maranda," as we call her, as Maranda is ready to go back to school to pursue her dreams. We can't say thank you enough! You are an awesome friend and we wish you all the best in your new endeavor!!

Our friend Lauren Kinsey just happens to be an awesome photographer. Though she mainly does weddings, she occasionally will do family shoots. She has chronicled our journey as a family, from a maternity shoot six weeks before Evie arrived to another when Evelyn was 10 days old and most recently a shoot to celebrate Evie's first birthday.
