U-Picking

One of the perks to living in South Shore is easy access to a variety of u-pick places. Today we met up with Grammy and Pops and took the girls tomato and blueberry picking. We especially enjoyed picking (and eating) blueberries. Now what to do with the fruit (literally) of our labor ... 

Pigs in the Parking Lot

This evening we met up with Grammy and Pops at the South Shore Chamber of Commerce's Pigs in the Parking Lot festival. The adults enjoyed a beer and some blues music while the kids got their faces painted and played in the bounce house. We ended the evening with dinner at BubbaQue's. A little warm, but still a very fun, relaxing evening!

Field Day with the Evester

Evie's school had a field day today to reward the kids who'd raised a certain amount for their Fun Run fundraiser. Since I was off today I was able to attend, and I had a blast. It's always fun to see the Evester in her school environment and be around her classmates. Such sweet, smart kids!
