Stuff My Kids Said Today

Evelyn: "When it's snack time I have to take Jasmine with me because I'm very shareful and Mrs coffin thinks I will be a rupshun if I share with everyone." 

Darcy: "that restaurant is made out of monocules" 

Evelyn: (about her sandwhich) "I just licked it, daddy.  Put it back in the lunchbox and I'll eat it tomorrow"

Darcy:  "aw, Evie! But I don't want to be the grownup. I want to be the baby forevah"

Darcy and I helped paint a local church's offices for a friend. Which basically means she sang Disney songs while I painted. 

On Day two she said "your art studio is looking good daddy"

Darcy's learning all about Cowboys and the West this week in school.  Yee-haw!

This morning the girls and I made pop tarts. Actually they more supervised than anything because it was VERY messy. They look delicious!

Today we met up with some friends and went bowling. This is the first time we'd bowled together as a family, and the first time ever for Darcy. Needless to say, fun was had by all!

Note: the girls got a higher score than Mommy. She is a little rusty. But they also had bumpers so they had an unfair advantage as well!

Aspirations

Last night, I was snuggling with Darcy when she turned to me and said, "Mommy, when I grow up, I want to be a birdy." Can't fault her for that one.

Later, she revised her ambition, saying, "Actually, I want to be a pizza maker. I will make pepperoni pizzas."

Evie piped up and said, "What about half cheese and half pepperoni?" To which Darcy agreed. "Yes, half pepperoni and half cheese."

Love them.
