Mama's Bed
The other day I told the girls to get off my bed. Evelyn said it wasn't mine it was Mama's. I said: it belongs to both of us. To which Evelyn replies: Well, mama uses it more.
Truer words were never spoken.

Strawberries!!
The Darse and I headed off to the local farms for some strawberry pickin'. It was a low spring sun day.
As you can see the strawberries were ripe and big and red! Darcy was very happy to be out on the patch but didn't care for the bugs. However she LOVED the milkshakes.
I gotta say, this has to be the best milkshake I have ever tasted. No lie!

What Evie Did on her Spring Break...
In Evelyn's own words:
It reads: Off of school for spring break, I went to the pool. I slide down a Big slide! The next day I went to the zoo. We went on rides. We see lots of Animals. I got to go in a bird cage. I got to go to my Grammys home. She let us go in her pool, then we go to a fair!

St. Patrick's Day Fun (a few days early)
Grammy and Pops joined me and the girls at their neighborhood's St. Patrick's Day celebration (even though St. Paddy's isn't till Tuesday). The girls enjoyed balloon animals, a bounce house, crafts and a magic show and the adults enjoyed some green beer. A good time was had by all.
Thank you to Grammy and Pops for hosting us and taking us out dinner afterwards!!
Our Little Weeds
Here's the girls' height chart. You can see Evelyn's progress on the left and Darcy's on the right. Take note of how tall Darcy is at 4 yrs old versus Evie. We think the Darse will outgrow her sister by the time she's ten.

The Royal Ball
Today we took the girls to the Disney Store for their Royal Ball event (basically marketing the new Cinderella movie coming out Friday). It was actually very cute. They got to wear their princess dresses and learned all about being a princess: how to greet each other, curtsy, waltz and even sword fight. All in all a fun little outing.

Glazier Children's Museum with Darcy
For her birthday I took the Darse to the children's museum. We had a great time climbing the maze, playing with all the games and toys and having a fun daddy-daughter day.
You can't tell, but she's talking my ears off in this picture:
They had a Wizard of Oz exhibit. I told Darcy to strike her best wicked pose.
I love this picture.
After five hours she was a bit worn out ...
Celebrating Darcy
Darcy's theme this year was Barbie, and we did that in spectacular fashion. She got four new dolls, a dress set and a Barbie notepad. But her favorite was the dress-up clothes. She got Cinderella, Tiana, and Super Sparkle dresses.
Super Sparkle is Barbie as a superhero. She got the movie, book, costume and doll. Thanks to The Chins and The Holts for putting that together. She had a blast playing superheroes!!
Her Barbie cake with pink milk!
