Celebrating Darcy

We were finally able to celebrate Darcy's third birthday today. Her favorite color is purple (or as she says pupple) so we threw her a purple themed party.

Mommy was putting her shoes back on the rack (she was tired of them being in a pile on the floor of her closet) and the girls decided to give a couple pairs of her boots a try.

Mayor's River o' Green Festival

My dad and I took the girls to the Mayor's River o' Green Festival in downtown Tampa today. I work in the building pictured across the river and obviously see the river on a daily basis and I was amazed by how green they got it! The girls had a blast (despite Evie's face in the last picture) and enjoyed looking at the river, but mostly the bouncy houses. We will definitely be back next year!

Thank God it's Friday! This week was a very busy one for me at work. I am looking forward to some downtime this weekend with this one and her sister ... and to sleeping in in the morning!

Look who turned 3 today!

Just Finished

Last night I finished The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. I zipped right through this one as I couldn't stop reading. Even after the secret is revealed about 150 pages in, the suspense of what will happen keeps you going. Definitely recommended.

To The Playground

The weather today was absolutely beautiful. The girls and I couldn't resist taking a walk and playing on the playground. I love Florida this time of year!
