I got the girls Happy Meals for dinner and the box had these punch-out moustaches. We obviously found them very amusing. (I decided not to post the one of me. Not nearly as cute!)

Hosting three UT alumnae today -- (left to right) Cyndee Dornblaser MBA '92, Kaitlin Monte '08 and Ida Felicione Coe '55 -- who were pageant winners. All three served as Miss Tampa at one point and Kaitlin went on to win the Miss New York title in 2011 and came in as second runner up in the 2012 Miss America pageant. Had a wonderful time talking with these three fabulous ladies and hearing their stories and opinions. I love my job.

Sweet Dreams

Shorts and Wipes

Two tgings to point out in this picture:

1. This is the first night Darcy will sleep in shorts. I switched her 12 month size clothes for 18 month size over the weekend and am trying to let her wear all the summery things before it gets chilly at night.

2. That is a wipe in her hand. She is obsessed with wipes right now and whenever I use one, she wants one or she throws a fit. I pick my battles and this is not one of them!

Too Quiet

You know what they say about when kids are being too quiet, they are usually getting into trouble?

Well, it's true, as evidenced by the "let's put lotion on the baby and the furniture" incident of 2012. Sigh. At least it was unscented lotion!

After dealing with two very tired tantrum-throwing girls this evening, tonight is a two-glasses-of-wine kinda night!

Presents

Well, Sisters' Weekend has come to an end (boo). We had a blast (in case you couldn't tell from my previous posts). The girls were very happy to see me, and vice versa. Here they are in their new Mickey shirts, which they loved.

Hollywood Studios

Highlights included the Toy Story ride (went on twice), the Little Mermaid show and the Star Wars ride (awesome). Ended our day with the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polynesian Resort and a tram ride. Having a fabulous time!

Dream Lites

Grammy recently got the girls Pillow Pets Dream Lites, a giraffe for Evie (of course) and a butterfly for Darcy. They love them. Love.

You tell the four-year-old to wash her hands ...

This evening, I was changing my clothes when I hear "Mooooom." Evie wandered in with her hands all lathered up and said she needed me to turn on the faucet (ours are the kind you have to pull up and she has trouble with them sometimes). I followed her back to the half-bath to discover soap everywhere - on the dispenser, the counter and the sink. Sigh. It took a while, but I managed to get it all off. Sigh. Life with kids is never dull!

Mommy's Bed

"Mommy's bed" has become the girls' favorite place to hang out, especially since Darcy has learned to climb into it by herself. Getting down is another matter ...

Makin' Dumplin's

Computer Games

Lately I've been letting Evie play games on my computer. Disney Jr. has some great ones that are just challenging enough for her. She always looks so grown up sitting at the computer, which reminds me that our little girl is growing up!
