Shopping with Grammy

Today, Grammy and I took the girls shopping for some cold weather clothes, which of course turned into lunch at Red Robin, seeing Santa, a ride on the carousel and a fashion show when we got home. Thank you Grammy for such a fun day -- and for all the girls' new winter clothes!

Anniversary Tripping

To celebrate our anniversary, Blake and I rented out a little beach-side cottage in Manasota Key for the weekend. We did a lot of reading, playing games, walking on the beach, napping with a few cocktails in there, too. All in all, just the relaxing sort of getaway we needed.

Lucky Number 13

Today was our 13th wedding anniversary, and Blake surprised me at work with a bouquet of flowers and took me out to lunch at my favorite place (Oxford Exchange). Happy anniversary to us!

Crafting with Friends

Three of my friends came over this evening for a little girl time and crafting. We made string art, which I quickly realized is quite labor intensive and maybe not my thing. BUT I really like how my M turned out so it was worth the effort in the end!
