Mallard Summer Camp - Day Thirty-seven

Today we went to Common Ground Park (a favorite of the girls).

We were so hot and sweaty that we wanted to come back and get in the pool.  But it started to rain so they took a shower instead.

Mallard Summer Camp - Day Thirty-six

After the Fourth of July trip, both girls were feeling sick.  A few days of bed rest later and they felt much better.

Today we went bike shopping for evie's birthday.  Here's the one she likes:

Notice her helmet.

We also did a cooking day.  We made a peach cobbler for Grammy and a pizza for mommy.

We also did some decorating in the girls' rooms.

Mallard Summer Camp - Day Twenty-six

Road trip to see the Chins for the Fourth.

Off we go!

Evelyn says these are her yak horns.  Not a bull, not a buffalo.  A yak.  Only our child.

This is Darcy twenty minutes before we get there.  7 hours worth of "when are we gonna be there" 20 minutes of silence.
